PETALING JAYA (3 October 2023) – Malaysia Futsal head coach Rakphol Sainetngam has finalised his squad of 14 players that will carry the team’s challenge in the qualifying round of the AFC Futsal Asia Cup 2024.
The Malaysians are in Group G of the qualifiers where they will be playing all their matches in Fergana, Uzbekistan on 7-11 October 2023.
They will take on Iraq on 7 October 2023, host Uzbekistan on 9 October 2023 and then Cambodia on 11 October 2023.
The eight group winners will be joined by seven of the best second-place teams and host Thailand will play in the AFC Futsal Asia Cup 2024 in Thailand on 17-28 April 2024.
