HANOI (19 November 2023) – A smashing 5-0 win over Cao Bang in the final saw Thai Son Nam FC being crowned champions of the HDBank National Futsal Cup 2023.
With several national players on their side, Thai Son Nam were in confident mode as Nguyen Thinh Phat fired in the lead after just nine minutes before Goncalves Da Silva Lucas doubled the advantage a minute later.
Thai Son Nam would end the first half 3-0 on top when Tran Thai Huy nailed the third goal of the game right at the end of the first half.
Two further goals in the second half off Nguyen Minh Tri who struck a double in the very last minute of play completed the rout for Thai Son Nam.
In the meantime, Thai Son Bac came in third after beating Sahako 4-3 in the penalty shootout.
The match had ended 3-3 at the end of regulation.
